In his recent article (June 8, 2021) Andy Tay, Presidential Young Professor at National University of Singapore and WEF Young Scientist, recommends the training programmes and sources for researchers how to understand the interface between science and foreign policy. He also featured the European Union Science Diplomacy Alliance and some of the results of its members, among others, the articles of Lorenzo Melchor (Joint Research Centre, European Commission, previously a member of the S4D4C project) and our partner TWAS. Elke Dall (Centre for Social Innovation) was interviewed as founding Chair of the Alliance and coordinator of the EU project S4D4C: Using Science for/in Diplomacy for addressing Global Challenges. She highlighted the importance to raise awareness about the professionals in this field and the necessary training – including the free online training course.
