New Report on Science Diplomacy Training in Ministries of Foreign Affairs released (AVRIST/Alliance)
Today, the Alliance released a new report authored by our former co-chair, Pierre-Bruno Ruffini, and Maria Bonnafous-Boucher (Association for the Promotion of International Scientific and Technical Relations, AVRIST).
Training in science diplomacy, as conceived and practiced by Ministries of Foreign Affairs, remains relatively underexplored. Drawing on a qualitative survey, this report provides targeted insights that help address this knowledge gap. The findings are based on a survey conducted between December 2024 and March 2025 among the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of twelve countries and the European Commission.
