Overview of bilateral research and innovation cooperation between the Western Balkans economies and EU Member States

A recently published overview reveals that bilateral research and innovation cooperation between the Western Balkans (WB) economies and EU Member States is both dynamic and asymmetrical. While some economies have established formalised agreements, joint funding programmes and institutional partnerships, others rely more extensively on multilateral EU initiatives.
