The COST Association (European Cooperation in Science and Technology, www.cost.eu) has invited the EU Science Diplomacy Alliance to offer a Science Diplomacy Training for participants from COST Actions. Around 50 researchers active in the networks have registered to the training taking place on 21 September and 21 October.

What is science diplomacy? Who are the science diplomacy stakeholders? What are the challenges and opportunities that current researchers and policy makers face which can been tackled by science diplomacy instruments? Which approaches are successful and which skills are needed for their implementation? These questions are just a few examples of the topics that the COST Training “Science Diplomacy in practice every day!” covers.
