The French National Centre for Scientific Research CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) features among the world’s leading research organizations. Together with Sorbonne Université and Panthéon-Sorbonne, the three institutions make up the SIRICE Joint Research Unit, which coordinates the InsSciDE project. SIRICE (Sorbonne-Identités, relations internationales et civilisations de l’Europe) applies a comparative and internationalist approach to research on the history of Europe and its contemporary international relations.
SIRICE / CNRS and Science Diplomacy: The institution is active in almost all InsSciDE Work Packages. In the European Union Science Diplomacy Alliance, CNRS is particularly interested to develop the “Case Studies” series in partnership with new stakeholders and researchers.
