Charles University (CU), founded 1348, belongs among the oldest and largest universities in the world. The Faculty of Social Sciences was established in 1990 and has become a regional centre of teaching and research in economics, sociology, political science, international relations, area studies, media studies and journalism.
Charles University and Science Diplomacy: The European Studies Department at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague has been member of the S4D4C project consortium. Their focus is on public policy, science policy and European integration and external action. They are working on the topics of public health/covid-19, water management, food security, and artificial intelligence, etc.
