PANEL ROUNDTABLE: “Training the Future Science Diplomats”
Different training formats give diplomats and scientists the possibility to develop their understanding and skills in science diplomacy. They help the trainees to better understand the interaction of science and diplomacy in the practice. What are the main challenges while training science diplomats? How can the success of training activities be measured? What could be improved in the future? The roundtable offers a discussion with external experts who provide their views on all these questions. Experienced actors responsible for training activities of different target groups and different regions recommend concrete action how to design successful training for the future generation of science diplomats.
