The session “Multilateral Science Diplomacy: the Changing Role of International Organisations in Addressing Global Challenges”, includes the following parts:
A complex web of intergovernmental organisations (IGOs) play an increasingly vital role in global governance, scientific advice and multilateral science diplomacy, often framing agendas (such as the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals) that are then adopted and implemented by national and regional bodies.
